What Styles.getStyles() is for?

I was trying to see the usage of Styles.getStyles(, is it something for linked styles? What exactly these set of styles represents?

Thanks for your inquiry. No. This is not related to linked styles. It just returns the container collection (data structure) of styles this style belongs to.
