What version of Microsoft office documents your API support?

Does it support latest version of Microsoft office document? Is there a way to convert the file locally without uploading the file to server? Thanks.

1. Some new features and formats included in Office 2013 are not supported at the moment but we are working on those features and support them gradually. As far as common features (which were also present in Office 2010) are concerned, are supported. Please try your documents and let us know if some unsupported features are used in your document; we will try to resolve those issues on a high priority.

2. Yes you can convert files without uploading to any storage. Please check the topics starting with 'Convert local file...' in the documentation e.g. or share which development platform are you working on, and we will share links to specific examples according to your development environment.

I haven't got time to try that yet since last week. I am trying to
convert the file locally with ruby API. It failed me last time, but it
did work with remotely conversion.

Hi Ri,

You can use following examples to convert local files in RUBY.

Please feel free to contact us in case you have further comments or questions.
