Whether the aspose software communicates with any of your servers via the internet

Hi,
- Do share whether the aspose software communicates with any of your servers via the internet and whether disabling the internet access will cause it to malfunction.
- Do share the list of features/upgrades done in recent times.

Below are the issues being faced by us with aspose:

  • some docs are converted to 100-200 MBs in size (WORDSNET-12587 issue has been logged at aspose side)
  • some docs are taking huge time in conversion around 10-25 seconds and around 10 GB RAM
  • Number of open files issue
    • we are running 6 threads of aspose for converting docs to html and many a times we have faced the issue when number of open files of system got exhausted (ulimit -n, we have changed the limit from 1028 to 1.5 lacs, but still facing the issue intermittently in a week or two)

Hi Irfan,

Thanks for your inquiry.

You can use all Aspose APIs without internet. There is no issue to disable internet and use Aspose APIs.
