With text in Thai Language the punctuation marks are displayed with spaces- if saved in PDF

If the pptx document contains a text in Thai Language like "ะ้กำ้้หไปเ่สยีเอกก่รสทิเ่าา?", when you save the document in pdf format between the Thai characters and the "?" character are inserted some spaces.
I attached a simple project to replicate the problem.

Hi Andrea,

Thank you for posting.

I have observed your comments and like to share with you that it appears to be a problem with the fonts. Please try installing the font, which is being used in the presentation, in your environment or load that font externally as explained in this documentation article. Hopefully the issue will be resolved.

Please let us know if the issue persists. We will be pleased to help you further.

Best Regards,

Hi Adnan Ahmad,
What do you mean "try installing the font" ? Which font should I install?
In the pdf output file I see the Thai characters, the problem are the spaces inserted between the Thai characters and the "?" character.

Andrea

Hi Adnan Ahmad,
I'm using the system font, thus I have added this code in the simple project, but the issue was not resolved.

String[] _fontDir = new String[] { "C:\\Windows\\Fonts" };
FontsLoader.LoadExternalFonts(_fontDir);
....
FontsLoader.ClearCache();

I tried to change the font (in Arial, Tahoma...), but the problem persist.

Hi Andrea,

I have observed your comments and regret to share that at present the issue is still unresolved. Actually, the issue is blocked owing to missing implementation in another issue of Aspose.Slides for .NET. So, it is going to get resolved in that issue first and then in this issue. The issue is going to be resolved tentatively in Aspose.Slides 16.12.0. The issue involves complex implementation and I have also requested our product team to share further feedback regarding the issue and suggest some temporary workaround for this issue. I request for your patience till the time further feedback is shared by our product team and issue gets resolved.
