Word to HTML has image problems

I have attached a small application that shows, especially on Item 1 and Item 4 that the documents being converted to HTML have images that overlap, or are not totally visible. My team thinks it is because the images are being position with position absolute so when they are rendered with everything else, they don’t appear correct. They look even worse inside Telerik’s RadEditor, which is where we store them after conversion.

Hi Vlad,

Thanks for your inquiry. Please note that Aspose.Words mimics the same behavior as MS Word does. If you convert your document to Html using MS Word, you will get the same output.

We suggest you please save the document to HtmlFixed file format. Hope this helps you.

Since Microsoft is not providing any help on this issue. Can you please contact Microsoft directly
on the Aspose end since you are outputting / mimicing the same behavior of the MS Word does.

The issue is that with flow charts and images are not rendering properly.

FYI: Aspose is outputting HTML to a DOC and a DOC to HTML and this needs to be resolved at the source thank you.

Hi Jim,

Thanks for sharing the detail. Please note that MS Word and HTML formats are quite different so sometimes it’s hard to achieve 100% fidelity. Upon processing HTML, some features of HTML might be lost. You can find a list of limitations upon HTML importing/exporting here:

Load in the HTML (.HTML, .XHTML, .MHTML) Format
Save in the HTML (.HTML, .XHTML, .MHTML) Format
