Right now I evaluating the trial version of Aspose.Words for java, and it does work for the purpose I need, however very soon the company will move to MS words 2007 which is not supported in this version of API. Do you have any estimat on when a new API will be released to support the new MS words.

Thanks for your interest in Aspose products. The Microsoft Word 2007 DOCX format is supported by .NET version of Aspose.Words. We plan to support this feature for java version, in Q2 2008. See the following link.
