A report definition URL

I’m getting the following error when I try and click the report button from a document library

An error occured when parsing the specified report template:

  • A report definition URL is not found in the specified report template. Please check that custom text document property “Aspose.Words.SharePoint.ReportUrl” is defined in the report template.

Thank you for your request.
In order to use a Word document as a report template, you need a report definition in an XML file. The template is linked to the report definition via custom document property “Aspose.Words.SharePoint.ReportUrl”. So you need to fill the property with an URL of the report definition in order to have a working report template. You can find more details in the product documentation.
