Because currently my system uses the license to be able to read pdf with many pages.

The license comes with one year of subscription. You can check the license expiry by opening it in notepad. That means, you can keep using the license for as long as you want up to the version of the API that was released before the date of expiry. At any point you face any issues, you can report it to our forums and we will address them accordingly.

Please note that we resolve issues in latest and higher versions of the API. That means, if an issue is reported for 25.6 version, it will be resolved in 25.7 or any higher version depending upon when its fix is implemented in the API. In case some fix is out in a version that is going to be released after the date of expiry of your license, you will need to upgrade/renew your existing license in order to be able to use the fixed in version.

If, for example, I stop subscribing, can I still use the license and still be able to read PDF files?

Yes, even if the expiry date is passed, you will still be able to use the license with existing API versions logged before its expiry date. You will only need to upgrade if you want to change API version and upgrade to one that is released after the date of expiry.
