I am trying to create tasks in a project but when I save it, all task dates become 2000. No matter what I do, it always remains like this. I am not sure I am missing something. Can anyone guide?

I believe you are using the evaluation version of Aspose.Tasks for .NET. If so, this is one of the limitations of evaluation license that year part in dates is always set to 2000. For details of all evaluation version limitations, please see Evaluation Limitations.
