An error occurred while exporting the report in XLSX

Hi,

We have an issue when exporting a SSRS report in ASPOSE XLSX 2007.

Indeed, when we open the Excel file, the following error is present whereas the report is well displayed in the web browser or BIDS:

(processing): Invalid offset for item. ReferenceID: ffffffffffffff37, Offset: -201
at –.Œ.(ReportItem item, Int32 colspan, Int32 columnIndex, Int32 Left, Int32 Top)

Moreover, we have a tablix control within another tablix and when, with another parameters, we can export the report, a merge column exist as shown in the file attachment. This merge is not allowed because of my customer’s needs.

Thanks in advance for your help.

We have reproduced the steps with the new dll, but infortunately, the issue keeps occuring.

Hello,

Thanks for your reply.
You will find the xlsx export attached.
Nevermind the empty columns, i erased business related data. I also highlighted columns ‘M’ and ‘GW’. The ‘M’ column is the one causing the problem in the first place, but i noticed that the creation of the ‘M’ column actually pushes the child tablix further on the right.

I hope you’ll understand the problem and come up with a solution for this.
Let me know if I can help.

Thanks.

Hi,

We found a workaround to solve the problem. The error was coming from header columns that weren’t formatted properly. The issue didn’t even occur when exporting to xls, so it might be interesting for you to look for a fix.

Do not hesitate to get back at me should you need additional information regarding the issue.

Thanks.
