Are embedded macros converted with files?

When I convert a file (for example, MS Word to PDF), are any embedded macros within the source document converted or are they dropped if the converted format does not support them? Thanks.

If the converted format does not support macros like pdf，they will be dropped.

If you are converting a document from one format to another, and both formats support macros, such as converting from one Microsoft Visio document to another Microsoft Visio document, the macros will be preserved and converted along with the content of the document.
