Argument Out of Range Exception

The problem occurs with the SGSFA.cs file under this scenario:

1) The program copies slides (copySlide function) from an existing presentation (Presentation A) to a new presentation (we’ll call Presentation X).
2) The program then runs "sgPres.Write(sgPPTPath);"
3) No errors occur.
4) Then the program copies slides (copySlide function) from another existing presentation (Presentation B) to Presentation X.
5) The program then runs “sgPres.Write(sgPPTPath);” and encounters the error.

This error is consistently thrown when the Presentation A has greater than 50 slides.

I am receiving a similar message as Sergio with version 7.5.1 on Aspose.Slides:

System.ArgumentOutofRangeException

This occurs when I append slides to an existing presentation (40-50 slides).

I have observed that you are using the latest version of Aspose.Slides for .NET to reproduce the issue. Please share the sample code reproducing the issue along with source presentation with us. I will investigate the issue further on my end to help you out.

Attached is the code and example slides.

The main function is orgToSGSlideHandler and the error is happening within this function at:[...sgPres.Write(sgPPTPath); }

Thanks for sharing the requested information. I have observed the presentation and sample project. Unfortunately, I am unable to use the sample project shared owing to missing namespaces that you have available on your end. The sample project seems to be the entire solution. I would humbly request you to please share the subset of sample code or sample project that is related to Aspose.Slides issue and that you use on your end to reproduce the issue. I will be able to carry my investigation on the basis of that. Unfortunately, it is difficult to develop an understanding of the complete project shared by you to identify the cause of the issue. I will really appreciate your cooperation in this regard.

Hi John,

I have observed the comments shared by you and based on them, I have extracted the relevent code sample portion from your sample project that you have pointed is cause of issue. I have shared the working sample code for your reference as well. I have observed two presentations with name OIT.pptx and MPRMetricTemplate.pptx in your sample project. I have tried cloning the slides from OIT.pptx to new presentation and have observe no issue. Can you please share that actual presentation with more than 50 slides that you feel is source of the issue so that I may investigate that further on my end. Please verify the same presentation with sample code shared by me before passing that on to me.

I was able to reproduce the error with version 7.6 of Aspose.Slides. On SGSFA.cs I catch an exception ArugmentOutOfRange with this message: {“Value must be positive.\r\nParameter name: count”}

Thanks for sharing the requested information. I have received one email with attachment with Sludes.zip. Unfortunately, for your second email the mail server has found that malicious and discarded that. Can you please verify your second attachment and kindly send that again. Please also provide the details about the shared attachments that what I should verify in them.

The first attachment represents the slides used by the program.

The second attachment should have the Visual Studio files in it.

Thanks for sharing the sample project. Unfortunately, its a complete project with custom namespace used. I am unable to use the sample project on my and as I requested you earlier to kindly share the sample application or working sample code related to Aspose.Slides issue that I may use to reproduce that on my end and help you further. Unfortunately, it is really difficult to develop understanding your sample project and then identify the issue. Therefore, I humbly request you to please share the subset sample code/application that is related to Aspose.Slides and is reproducing issue on your end. I will use the same on my end to help you further.
