I am having issues using Aspose.Words with a ARM64 Windows computer (via Python). Does anyone know if there will be a ARM64 for Windows distribution? (same for Aspose.Cells).
Currently, Aspose does not offer a specific ARM64 distribution for Windows. The libraries, including Aspose.Words and Aspose.Cells, are primarily designed for x86 and x64 architectures. If you encounter issues running these libraries on an ARM64 Windows computer, consider using a compatibility layer or running your application in x64 emulation mode if available.
For the latest updates regarding potential support for ARM64, please check the official Aspose forums or documentation regularly.

Our wrapper team has thoroughly assessed your issue/requirements as requested. We are sorry but we cannot promise anything regarding Windows - ARM64 distribution at the moment. From programming perspective, there is no problems but there are some hardware issues involved. We can only promise the following:
- The ‘BearLodge’ version will be published in October - November 2025 (assuming blogging doesn’t take up 4 out of 5 working days, like it does now);
- The final step in developing the ‘BearLodge’ version will be exploring the possibility of adding Windows - ARM64 support using the hardware we already have.
- If the ‘BearLodge’ release notes contain either an estimate of when this can be expected or mention that Windows - ARM64 support is already implemented.
- It’s quite possible that we will need a physical Windows - ARM64 Jenkins Build Agent. In that case, we will publish a feature request in the blogs and ask for your support. Further support for Windows ARM64 will depend not on us, but on the company’s stance.
We will keep you posted with (new) updates and developments once available on it.
