Aspose all versions running slow while printing PDFs on a customer site

We have come across a very strange behaviour for printing PDF documents via Aspose on one of our customer sites since they moved to Citrix. Basically the document seems to print but they stalls at the end of the print and can wait for a very long time before the Aspose viewer.PrintDocumentWithSettings(printerSettings) seems to think the print has finished. We don’t see this behaviour outside of Aspose at present so very weird.

Two things seem to occur ad-hoc…

  1. It takes a long time for the spool to finish on the printer queue
  2. The spool can finish quickly but the Aspose method does not finish until several seconds to a minute later.

The documents are only a few pages at most.

System is…
Windows Server 2019 Standard, 8vCPU, 32GB vRAM, Citrix XenApp 1912 LTSR
with Follow Me Xerox printers

Anybody see this behaviour before and if so have you a solution?

We are afraid that we did not come across similar issue and we need to proper investigate it. Could you please make sure to test with 21.5 version of the API and if issue still persists, please share a sample source PDF document with sample code snippet you are using for printing it. We will log an investigation ticket in our issue tracking system and share the ID with you.
