Aspose and Content Controls

Dear Adam,

A few months ago we propose Aspose to one of our customers. The main objectives were to print a Word document server-side and export to PDF.

These documents use Content Controls and from your site (https://docs.aspose.com/words/java/custom-markup-features-supported-on-pdf-export/), I can read that it is planned to handle these scenarios.

Have a timeframe for the release of implementation?

Thanks for your inquiry.

I have spoken to the developer responsible for content controls and he states that there is no definite ETA on custom XML linked to content controls just yet, however since content controls are growing in popularity you may find this feature implemented sometime around Q1 or Q2 next year.

The issues you have found earlier (filed as WORDSNET-6284) have been fixed in this Aspose.Words for .NET 21.5 update and this Aspose.Words for Java 21.5 update.
