We make a cross-platform desktop app using C++, so a macOS version is a must for us.
As far as I know, only .NET PDF parser API could be used for macOS apps right now.
Do developers have plans to make C++ parser API work for macOS apps?

Is there an estimated time in which you would be able to update me on the issue? It would be really handy if I could understand the time needed.
Regretfully we are not in position to share an estimated time for implementation of your required support. The MAC OS support was not included on the road of API development. However, we will surely consider earlier logged ticket and as soon as we have some plans for its implementation, we will share with you. Please spare us little time.
