"I have noticed an issue with the formatting of a displayed sheet when merging several cells. In the sheets that I need to handle in my application, I have differently formatted merged cells. Sometimes they are displayed correctly, and other times they are not. I am providing screenshots from Aspose controls and from the MS Excel application and examlpe file. I would expect the display to match what is shown in MS Excel. Will this issue be fixed? Is there any way to display it correctly in the current version of the controls?

@klepprime01,
Thanks for the sample Excel file and screenshot.
After initial testing, I was able to reproduce the issue with your template Excel file using the editor/viewer app (created by Aspose.Cells.GridJs). I found when importing the file into the control, it displays incorrect formatting for the merged cells in the worksheet.
We require thorough evaluation of the issue. We have opened the following new ticket(s) in our internal issue tracking system and will deliver their fixes according to the terms mentioned in Free Support Policies.

Upon preliminary investigation, it appears that the problem arises when cells with pre-set borders are merged, causing the border styles to persist even after merging. We currently have two potential solutions to resolve this issue:
- Within Excel: Locate the cells with the problematic borders, unmerge them, remove the border settings, and then re-merge the cells. This should resolve the issue.
- Using Our Editor: Utilize the toolbar to unmerge the problematic cells and then click merge again.
Please let us know if these methods work for you or if you need any further assistance.
