It is because now the code is directly ported from .NET to Java.
Earlier, it was using open source libraries but now development team will have to write such things by themselves to make code portable to .NET from Java and vice versa.

We have supported to save chart for ODS files.
Please download and try the latest version: Aspose.Cells for Java v7.2.0.2
Thanks for updating. We have tested the build following are the issues we observe
1. Graphical Quality of charts are not impressive.
2. Legends are appearing with same color.
3. Legends are displaced in ODS.
I have attached the Excel and the result ODS file please look into that.

We have improved the output chart for ODS file format. Please try the new fix. There is one issue of reversed y-axis we are working on, we will fix it in next fix.
