Hi I am working for a Tech Company and we are working with a client who needs Excel to PDF conversion. The excels are not in tabular format and also we are not manipulating the data in anyway, just purely using it for conversion purpose. The project is in Appian and planning to use the Appian smart service which intern needs the Aspose.Cells Java license. So before the client thinks about the license cost they wanted to know if using the Appian Aspose Smart Service or when using the Aspose.Cells Java Library (as an API Service) will any data be transmitted out of the client network.
Aspose.Cells for Java is a standalone library that runs within your local environment (on-premise or cloud). It does not require any external communication with the internet, Aspose servers, or third-party services during Excel-to-PDF conversion. All processing happens locally, ensuring data stays within the client’s network. Aspose libraries do not collect, transmit, or store any user data, logs, or files. If you are using the Appian smart service powered by Aspose.Cells for Java, the processing will occur in your Appian environment.
