Aspose data grid and automated testing

I need some help with our Aspose implementation. I realize

you may need to forward this to a developer or engineer. We use Microsoft dotNET
and Aspose Total to develop a desktop software product. This software product is
not a web application, but does connect with a remote database. The software
product we develop has regular fields and a datagrid.

Is anyone at Aspose aware of any automated testing tools that are compatible with dotNET and Aspose components that I can use to test our desktop software product? Any information you can provide on this would be very helpful. I did a search on "Aspose" AND "automated testing" and found a post on your site from 2004, but the application under test was a web application, not a desktop application. So I'm not sure how useful this would be to us. Apparently, your Nanjing office handles this type of question.

Please let me know if there is a more appropriate discussion thread for this subject, or if you have any questions.

Hi,

Thank you for considering Aspose.

We will get back to you regarding your query soon.

Thank You & Best Regards,

You can try NUnit http://www.nunit.org/index.php or AutomateQA http://www.automatedqa.com/ .

Thanks, I’ll look into this.

Sorry, I have not had a chance to respond to this until now. We are looking to do System (functional) testing, so NUnit would not be appropriate for our needs.

My company owns a copy of TestComplete, which is maintained and sold by AutomatedQA. I tried using TestComplete to test our application and found that it is not compatible with the Aspose data grid. I contacted AutomatedQA and had one of their engineers confirm this. AutomatedQA does not support the Aspose data grid. At least this is what the engineer and sales rep at AutomatedQA told me.

So if you are aware of automated testing tools for functional testing that are compatible with the Aspose data grid, please let me know.

Thanks for your help on this.

Hi,

We will get back to you soon.

Thanks for your patience.

Hi,

Well, I am afraid, we have no such tools to mention you, so, you have to search a suitable one by yourself to perform your functional testing of the product.

Thank you.

Thanks, I was hoping you might be aware of a test tool that is compatible with the Aspose. If I find anything, I’ll post it here.
