This code throws an exception.
We were able to reproduce the issue with Aspose.Diagram for .NET 20.5 and logged it as DIAGRAMNET-51856 in our issue tracking system. We will further look into its details and keep you posted with the status of its rectification. Please be patient and spare us some time.

We have again tested the scenario with Aspose.Diagram for .NET 20.6 and found that the issue was not occurring with latest version. Would you kindly try at you end using 20.6 version of the API.
