Aspose.Email.Outlook.Pst.MessageInfo.MessageClass is now empty!

I excitedly upgraded to Aspose.Email 1.1, but found a problem.

Aspose.Email.Outlook.Pst.MessageInfo.MessageClass is now empty, and this is critical for me. I will have to roll back to 1.0 until this is addressed. Thank you!

Best regards,

Rob

Hi Rob,

I have reproduced this issue at my end as well.

Could you please try the following workaround with v1.1?

MapiProperty messageClass = messageInfo.Properties[MapiPropertyTag.PR_MESSAGE_CLASS];
if (messageClass == null)
messageClass = messageInfo.Properties[MapiPropertyTag.PR_MESSAGE_CLASS_A];
if (messageClass == null)
messageClass = messageInfo.Properties[MapiPropertyTag.PR_MESSAGE_CLASS_W];

// Get the message class
if (messageClass != null)
Console.Write(messageClass.GetString());

Hi Saqib Razzaq,

This workaround does yield a valid MessageClass value. Thanks!

Will the next release of Aspose.Email require the workaround, or will it fix MessageInfo.MessageClass?

Best reards,

Rob

Hi Rob,

We will fix this in next version.

The issues you have found earlier (filed as 31699 ) have been fixed in this update.
