Aspose.GIS not working in Blazor Server app

Hi,

I can not get the Aspose.GIS to work in my Blazor Server app, can you verify that it should work ?
I use .Net Core 6.0 .

Hi, @mcanavar

Thank you for your interest in the Aspose.GIS product.

Could you please give a code sample that you have executed in your application. Then I can explore the problem more fully.

Best Regards.

Hi @Evgeniy.Timofeev,

Well , I did not code any lines yet, I only have acquired a temp license and tried to add the nuget package to my Blazor Server project.

Added the lines for the license in startup.cs.

    Aspose.Gis.License lic = new Aspose.Gis.License();
    lic.SetLicense(@"License\Aspose.GIS.NET.lic");

and changed my project file to look for the license file.

The project does not compile , my target framework is .Net core 6.0 .

Thank you for sharing additional details.

We have created a ticket GISNET-1302 to investigate the issue. We will notify you here as we will have progress with it.

Please let me know if you experience any other problems.

Hi ,
Any progress or news any time soon ? For my project I need to know this before the end of this week.

Unfortunately I can’t provide any progress or news before the end of this year

Is there and updated estimate on Aspose.GIS support for .NET 6?

Hi, @ralph.boom

We are going to fix it in nearest or next release.

Thanks

Hi ,
Can I get an update on when this is going to be updated.
next release could by next year or next month ?
we have to make choices and proceed with the projects …

We release once a month. The next version will be released this month (February)

Best Regards.

@Evgeniy.Timofeev
That is very good news!
Thank you

@Evgeniy.Timofeev
Hi, Any update on this , can’t see any new release for GIS for this month.

Hello @Evgeniy.Timofeev,

Setting temporary license in Blazor Serverside app is still not possible, without these two lines of code the limited version of the product works as expected.

Please resolve this license issue, I want to test the full product capabilities and comfirm my purchase .

@mcanavar,

We are sorry but your issue got delayed and is still “In Progress”. It is not resolved yet.
Once we an update on it, we will let you know here.
