Hello,
Hi Eugene,
Thank you for considering Aspose products.
I have tested your presented scenario on Windows Server 2008 R2 64-bit edition with Aspose.Imaging for .NET 2.2.0. I am afraid, I was unable to replicate the said problem on my end. Simulating your environment (Windows Server 2008 32-bit) on my end may take some time therefore I would request you to try any of the following in the meanwhile,
- Although your account has administrative rights on your machine but still you can try by executing the installation in Administrative Mode. Please right click on the Aspose.Imaging.msi and select “Run as administrator” from the context menu. I believe you will be able to install Aspose.Imaging for .NET using this approach.
- In case the above approach doesn’t work, you can download Aspose.Imaging assemblies only. The difference between the MSI installer and the dll version is that the MSI installer automatically registers the assemblies to GAC. Moreover, MSI installer contains Aspose Examples Dashboard along with a few start-up examples. If you wish I can provide you the Examples Dashboard separately as well as the links to the online documentation, if you are looking for something specific.
Please let us know in case your problem persists and/or you need our assistance. We will be glad to help you out.
Hi Eugene,
We have further evaluated your presented scenario on Windows Server 2008 32-bit edition (fresh installation), and found no issue while installing the Aspose.Imaging for .NET 2.2.0. Please note, Administrator account was used for testing purposes whereas the installation was done following the step 1) shared in my previous post.
Please let us know if you still face any difficulties.
