Hello,

We have a requirement to generate a pdf document from a word template. We are able to achieve this. However, in the input word template, we need to add some checkboxes and based on the value in input json, we need to check or uncheck the checkbox during mailmerge. Could you please advise how we can achieve this and if you could provide a sample word template with checkbox and logic on how to enable or disable it. We are unclear as to how we can create a mailmerge filed for checkbox.

@judiciary You can use Wingding characters and IF field to achieve this. Please see the attached template, code and the produced output:

Document doc = new Document(@"C:\Temp\in.docx");

doc.MailMerge.CleanupOptions = MailMergeCleanupOptions.RemoveContainingFields;
doc.MailMerge.Execute(new string[] { "test1", "test2" }, new object[] { true, false });

doc.Save(@"C:\Temp\out.docx");
doc.Save(@"C:\Temp\out.pdf");
