Aspose mysteriously taking longer to convert docs to HTML

Hello-
We have Aspose PDF for Java and have been using it for a while (we use Oct. 2018 release). In our performance test environment, we noticed starting in December 2019 that PDF document conversion to HTML went from 2.5 seconds average to 7-10 seconds average. Our application code/build had not changed, nor the version of the Apose lib or the license, the exact same set of PDF documents are used in the test that have always been used, and tracing/logging had not been turned on - nothing else in that environment has become slower – except for the Aspose converting PDF docs to HTML. We checked the tomcat temp area where Aspose writes temp files to, and eliminated any issue or change due to that. We run the test monthly, and for every month leading up to December 2019 the average convert time was 2.5 sec, and suddenly starting in December and every month since, the convert time increased to 7-10 sec average.

Do you know of any reason why that might happen?
Does the conversion access any external website or files (that could be slower now)?
Or anything else like that, that could slow it down.
We’re at a loss to explain it.

Thank you.
