Aspose.Note Error: The MD5 hash is not correct for the referenced struct

Hello,

I have a bunch of OneNote files that open fine in OneNote, but fail to open in Aspose.Note. When trying to open any of the attached documents, I get the following exception:

The MD5 hash is not correct for the referenced struct.

Please let me know what can be done with these. I have hundreds more of these if you need more samples.

The attached files are confidential and need to be protected.

Thank you,

Scott

Hi Scott,

We have tested all the files and observed the issue. Could you please inform which version of Microsoft OneNote is used to create these files? Also which version of Aspose.Note are you using for testing these files? This information will help us to provide assistance at the earliest.

I have no way of knowing what version created these files. I’m using version 2.3.0.0 of Aspose.Note - which is the latest.

Please confirm you are seeing the same issue when opening the file. I have hundreds of these files and need to find a solution for them. I am seeing the same issue from multiple sources (our clients) so I know it’s not just a bad batch.

Thank you,

Scott

Hi Scott,

I’ve checked all attached files on the upcoming Aspose.Note for .Net 2.4.0. I would like to notify you that all files have been successfully opened using new version, which is expected early in the next week.

Hi Scott,

We have published Aspose.Note for .NET (Latest Version). Please try your files with this new version and let us know if you face any issue.

Thank you for the update. Can you please tell me when this will be available through NuGet?

Thanks,

Scott

Hi Scott,

It is already available through NuGet: NuGet Gallery | Aspose.Note 23.10.0

Thank you. This resolved many of my issues, but I still have a few more. I will open another item for those.

Hi Scott,

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We have already investigated the shared problem by you and assisted you accordingly in the respective forum thread.
