As of version 24.4.0 the Aspose.PDF package is supported in version 4.8.1 and seems to be unsupported in version 4.8 (shows unrelated dependencies)
Is there an upcoming version to enable support for 4.8 as well?
Could you please clarify what specific support or features you are looking for in Aspose.PDF for .NET Framework 4.8?
When I consume the component in a Framework 4.8 project, there is a problem consuming the package. Requires installation of 4.8.1

Yes, support for version .NET Framework 4.8 has ended.
You can still download the package for previous versions here
The issue of .NET Framework 4.8 support was raised by users on the forum and passed on to the development team. However, there was no news or changes and it looks like support for 4.8 is not planned.
