Let me please ask few questions then about the server product :
Does it support conversion of Hebrew contents documents ?
Does it provide an API (DLL, COM, Web Service, …)
to utilize the conversion service from an application running on server ?
Does it support conversion from XML Doc to PDF, WordML to PDF, and also to image format (tiff, jpeg, etc…) ?
Does the server license price cover unlimited users ?
Is both word 2003 & word 2007 input format supported for conversion ? Future word formats ?
Can the contents to be converted be provided within a string parameter to the product API,
i.e. for example string stream containing the XML DOC to be converted, rather than providing a file containing it ?
What’s the price for server license ? Is it for unlimited users converting XML Doc / Word ML to PDF and/or to image ?
Is there pricing for limited num of users and what steps & price ?
Aspose site mentions price per developers. Is there price per developers plus price per use ? Kindly clarify licensing method & breakdown.
1. Does it support conversion of Hebrew contents documents ? Hebrew and Arabic is supported but currently this feature is Beta version. We are still working on improving this feature. If you find any problem, please report to us.
2. Does it provide an API (DLL, COM, Web Service, …) to utilize the conversion service from an application running on server ? API with DLL is provided.
3. Does it support conversion from XML Doc to PDF, WordML to PDF, and also to image format (tiff, jpeg, etc…) ? XML2PDF is supported. XML with Aspose.Pdf format (refer to Introduction to Schema) can be converted to PDF directly. Other XML can be converted into PDF with the help of a XSLT file. WordML can be converted into PDF with Aspose.Words + Aspose.Pdf. Image2PDF is supported in Aspose.Pdf.
5. Is both word 2003 & word 2007 input format supported for conversion ? Future word formats ? Yes it is supported. For detailed info please ask in the Aspose.Words forum.
6. Can the contents to be converted be provided within a string parameter to the product API, i.e. for example string stream containing the XML DOC to be converted, rather than providing a file containing it ? String parameter is not supported but Stream is supported.
Hi, Where can I get the Beta for this PDF version? I need to convert word documents to pdf and they are all in Hebrew or Hebrew and English mix together. When I try to convert them now, I get the hebrew text in "mirror writting".
You can download the latest version of Aspose.Pdf for .NET from here.
There are two methods of converting word document into PDF format, either using Direct-to-PDF save method of Aspose.Words which is recently introduced or using the conventional method of using Aspose.Pdf for .NET & Aspose.Words for .NET to convert word file into PDF format.
In case, you still face any issue during conversion, please share information regarding the method that you're using and the resource word document, so that we can test the scenario at our end.
