Aspose.pdf questions

Let me please ask few questions then about the server product :

  1. Does it support conversion of Hebrew contents documents ?

  2. Does it provide an API (DLL, COM, Web Service, …)
to utilize the conversion service from an application running on server ?

  3. Does it support conversion from XML Doc to PDF, WordML to PDF, and also to image format (tiff, jpeg, etc…) ?

  4. Does the server license price cover unlimited users ?

  5. Is both word 2003 & word 2007 input format supported for conversion ? Future word formats ?

  6. Can the contents to be converted be provided within a string parameter to the product API,
i.e. for example string stream containing the XML DOC to be converted, rather than providing a file containing it ?

  7. What’s the price for server license ? Is it for unlimited users converting XML Doc / Word ML to PDF and/or to image ?
Is there pricing for limited num of users and what steps & price ?

  8. Aspose site mentions price per developers. Is there price per developers plus price per use ? Kindly clarify licensing method & breakdown.

Hello,

I am unsure if you are wanting Aspose.Pdf for .NET or for Reporting Services. Our licensing is different for both of those.

Aspose.Pdf for .NET is licensed per developer and/or location. It starts at $599. You can see the pricing here: Purchase Portal.

Aspose.Pdf for Reporting Services is licensed for server or site. It starts at $599. You can see the pricing here: http://www.aspose.com/Purchase/Aspose.Pdf.Reporting.Services/ .

A developer will answers your questions 1-6 shortly. Thank you.

Hi,
Where can I get the Beta for this PDF version?
I need to convert word documents to pdf and they are all in Hebrew or Hebrew and English mix together.
When I try to convert them now, I get the hebrew text in "mirror writting".

Thank you

Hello Ron,

Thanks for considering Aspose.

You can download the latest version of Aspose.Pdf for .NET from here.

For information on Direct-to-PDF save method, please visit How-to: Convert a Document to PDF

For information on conventional method, please visit Converting Word documents to PDF

If you wish to use conventional method and want to display the fonts properly, please visit Fonts embedding while creating PDF
