Aspose.Slides Accent Characters lose font defintion after cloning

Hi,
We encounter an issue when we try to merge some powerpoint presentations using the clone method.
The major part of the slides are cloned properly, but a bug appears frequently.
In some block of text of the same font, characters like "é è ù à", lose their font and it seems that a random font is associated to them. It can be Arial / Time New Roman and the most unconvinient is when the new font is WingDings.
We are planning to purchase Aspose Slides as soon as our prototype works, and we need to solve this issue in short terms.
Do you have any idea from where this issue could come from ? and if it is a known issue, do you have any leads to solve the issue?
Thanks in advance
Regards

Dear jmontaro,

The part1.ppt, you provided was broken. If you open it in MS-PowerPoint and save it back using Save As… menu command, the bug does not appear.

You should also disable the Allow fast saves option in Tools – > Options – > Save in MS-PowerPoint.

This is because, so that MS-PowerPoint stops adding incremental records.

Hi,

Thanks for your answer, I am trying to clean up some presentations to test.
To prepare some extra procedures, Can this bug be corrected by a fix or do we need to open and save as… every powerpoint we use to have a clean generation ?

Thanks in advance,

Jerome

Dear Jerome,

We will investigate and try to fix it if possible and let you know.

The problem has been fixed in the latest version Aspose.Slides 2.8.5.0, which can be found from this link.
