Aspose.Slides for Java & PowerPoint 2007

Hi:

This is probably a FAQ, but I can't seem to find a quick answer. Does Aspose.Slides support the PowerPoint 2007 file format? Is it supported in both .Net & Java. If so what versions. If not, when is support planned. Is there a document describing the existing or anticipated support for the PowerPoint 2007 format.

I don't see support listed on the main product overview, but I did find some messages in the forums listing .Net 2.8.7.0 and .Net 2.8.8.0 hot fixes.

Thanks for considering Aspose.

Yes, it supports PowerPoint 2007 (PPTX) format. However PPTX support is not fully accomplished. Development is still under way.

Currently, you can work with text, modify/add text, but cannot add new textframes yet. Similarly, you can clone slides from one presentation into others etc.

You will need to see Aspose.Slides.Pptx namespace to know all the supported features.
