Aspose.Slides for .NET - Watermark Is Displayed after a License Update

Hello,

We have received the most up to date license for Aspose.Slides.NET, however the watermark is not being removed. If I replace the license file with the previous version (which is still within the expiry date), it works.

Could you please advise? Do you need to re-generate the file?

Thanks for getting back to us.

Our current license file expires on the 30th of March 2023 and although the solution above works, we need to follow processes to upgrade the component to the latest versions, such as:

  • Allocate resources for the job
  • Analysis on breaking changes due to the upgrade from 2017 version to 2023 version
  • Regression testing functionalities
  • Get change control approval
  • Schedule deployment
  • etc

Therefore this is not a viable option at the moment given the 2 weeks period for the license expiration date and we already have other things on our pipeline. Given that all the previous license files from previous years have worked seamlessly, what has changed that the most up to date license file is not compatible anymore with the old versions of the component?

Could you provide a solution that we don’t need to update the component version and we only need to update the .lic file on the production server?

The newer licenses use stronger protection. The older versions of Aspose.Slides do not support the newer licenses that work fine starting from version 22.4. So you have to update Aspose.Slides. You can test your new license in a new simple project. We apologize for any inconvenience.
