Aspose.slides not working with ppt

Hi

I am using Aspose.Slides for .NET 16.4 version for opening ppt file. It was working fine until we uninstalled the office component from the server. But after uninstall of office component from server Aspose gives exception while trying to open ppt file.

Can anybody tell me whether the latest version of the dll can read the ppt without office components in server.
We can open pptx file witthout any issue.

We have some places we read old excel file as well (xls). I haven’t got a chance to test that part.

I have observed the information shared by you and like to share that Aspose.Slides has no dependence on MS Office or any of its component. I suggest you to please first try using Aspose.Slides for .NET 17.9 on your end and if there is still an issue then please share the source presentation and working sample project with us reproducing issue on your end.
