ASPOSE.Total for .Net with .Net Core

We are planning to migrate our application from classic .Net Framwork to .Net core.

Can you plz let us know, if does ASPOSE Total for .Net product “only supports .Net Core” (or) these products are built with native .Net core?

We are looking for products build with native .Net Core so our so our application will be on completely .Net core.

Thanks.

Aspose products do support the .NET Core. You can use Aspose.Total for .NET with .NET Core. If you face any issue while using Aspose products, please let us know.

Tahir,

Thanks for your response. We got this update from your forum discussions.

But we would like to understand is your packages developed with core .Net core (or) developed in classic .Net, but supports .Net core as well.

Aspose products have separate DLLs for .NET Core and .NET Framework. E.g. please check the attached screenshot for Aspose.Words’ DLLs.

Tahir,

May I know what is difference in process in adding the .Net core Nuget packages / Classic .Net packages to a Windows C#.Net Core Project?

We suggest you please install Aspose products through NuGet. The DLLs of Aspose products will be added to your application according to target .NET version.

You can add manually Aspose DLL into your project from the desired folder after downloading it. Could you please share some more detail about your requirement what exact you want to do? Please also share which Aspose products you want to use. We will then provide you more information about your query.

Tahir,

Thanks much for the update. We will let you know, if we need any further updates.
