Hello Team,
Currently we have license for Aspose.Word for Java 21.2, we are using it with Java 17 currently.
We are in situation were we need to upgrade our application to Java 21. If aspose.Word 21.2 supports Java 21 ?
Another question is can we use latest version for Aspose.Word with the same license we purchased earlier or need to buy new ?
Thanks.
Sameer
@sjha.aspose Yes, Aspose.Words 21.2 can be used with Java 21. Aspose.Words for Java supports Java 7 and newer. Please see our documentation to learn more about Aspose.Words for Java system requirements:
https://docs.aspose.com/words/java/system-requirements/
Every Aspose license provides a 1-year subscription for free upgrades to any new Aspose.Words version that comes out.
You can check the license expiration date by opening the license file in Notepad (but take care not to modify and save the license file or it will no longer work) and checking the SubscriptionExpiry field.
<SubscriptionExpiry>20220218</SubscriptionExpiry>
It means that you can free upgrade to version of Aspose.Words published before 02/18/2022.
