I installed the latest version (5.2.1) of Aspose.Words for .NET and I am not able to open both the Visual Studio 03 and 05 project files (under Aspose.Words\Demos\CSharp\WebForms folder) using my VS 2005 Professional IDE.

Here’s the error I received…

ERROR: Unable to parse project file WebForms.2005.csproj

and not a single file is loaded.

I also tried to load the demo into VS 2008; but has no luck either.

Is there any documentation that will help me setup or configure my VS 2005 and 2008 IDE to work with your demo project? As I need to demo your demos to justify purchase of your product.

Thanks for your inquiry. I google a bit and it seems this occurs because Visual Studio SP1 is not installed. Please try download and install SP1.

if this does not work for you, you can open Web demo as Web Site. Open Visual studio, File menu/ Open/ Web Site and specify folder with web demo (by default it is “C:\Program Files\Aspose\Aspose.Words\Demos\CSharp\WebForms”)
