I’m looking for a copy of the copyright notices and license text files for all third party components for Aspose.Words for Java 24.11. In past, one could download e.g. aspose-words-19.4-java.zip that contained the following structure:
aspose-words-19.4-java.zip
- license
** thirdpartylicenses-Aspose.Words for Java.txt
- lib
** aspose-words-19.4-jdk16.jar
- doc
- readme.txt
@PieterB Here is the third party licenses file ofAspose.Words for Java
Aspose.Words for Java .Agreements.pdf (69.6 KB)
@alexey.noskov Thanks for the prompt response. I few comments on that:
- Previously, it listed the exact versions of each third party component, like:
Aspose copyright notice
Fanwood font v.1.1
Streaming API for XML v.3.1.4
Woodstox Project v.5.0.1
Woodstox XML processor v.5.0.1
Legion of the Bouncy Castle Java cryptography API v.1.0.1
ObjectPlanet’s Java PngEncoder v.2.0.2
International Components for Unicode (ICU) v.3.4
Unicode Data Files and Software
Animated GIF library for Java v.1.5
This helps us to capture any potential security risks if any of said third party tech versions encounters a security vulnerability. Any plans of adding the technology versions back into this doc?
- The provided third party licenses file may receive updates as Aspose picks up new versions of these technologies. Is there a download link available on the Aspose website to this document for a given release of Aspose.Words for Java? The bundle of the JAR along with the text-based copy of it (thirdpartylicenses-Aspose.Words for Java.txt) was really useful in the past, since we are redistributing it as part of our application.
@PieterB I will consult with our Java developers and get back to you shortly.
