Aspose.words for microsoft word

I have Office 2010 and tried this out but it would not work. Is there something that I can do to get it to work with the new version or will you be coming out with a new one for 2010?
Thanks,

Hi Bradley,
Thanks for considering Aspose.
Aspose.Words supports loading and saving of Word 2010 OOXML documents (ISO 29500 Transitional) from the 9.0.version of Aspose.Words for NET.
Could you please attach your documents here for testing and we will provide further information.
Thanks,

So you are saying that if the initial doc isn’t to the correct level, then the Save As function, going to ePub, won’t be present? If that’s the case, then I’d just need to save the doc to the 2010 standard and then the ePub Save As option should be enabled.

Hi Bradley,
I suppose you mean the compliance level? If that is correct then the code in this thread may be of help.
If this does not help could you please clarify further what you mean.
Thanks,

That doesn’t look like what I’m talking about. I know that this was written for Word 2007 as your site states here: “We are happy to announce the first release of a free add-in that allows you to convert any document opened in Microsoft Word 2007 to EPUB.”

I tried it with Word 2010 and it does not function as an “add-in” providing the “save as” function it should with Word 2007. I wanted to know if it can be modified to work with Word 2010 or if it will take complete new code from scratch. I didn’t expect there to be that big of a change from 2007 SP2 to 2010.

Hi

Thanks for your request. Aspose.Words for MS Word does not work with Word 2010 because during installing Aspose.Words writes the appropriate registry values, but Word 2007 and 2010 has different subdirectories in registry. Your request has been linked to the appropriate issue, you will be notified as soon as it is resolved.
Best regards.

We are pleased to announce the release of the free utility Aspose.Words Express 1.0.
