We had purchased a license for Aspose.Words for Reporting Services (.NET) v3.0.1. The product is installed on our production servers.
Now we want to upgrade the production version to v3.3.1
- While doing the upgrade, will we need a new license key or will the old one be used
- During the upgrade installation, will our key be replaced by a temp license key.
In case the license key is replaced or gets corrupted, can you please provide us with detailed instructions on how and where to replace the license key (I don’t know where it is currently placed).

Thanks for your request. Every Aspose license carries one-year subscription for free upgrades to new versions released during this time. So, you can just check the expiration date of your license. To check an expiration date of your license open the license file using notepad. You will see the following tags:
20090218
It means that you can free upgrade to version of Aspose.Words for Reporting Services published before 02/18/2009.
- While upgrading you will need new license key if your old license key does not allow upgrading to the latest version. You should contact our sales team in order to get new license key. You can contact them in Aspose.Purchase forum:

- If you need to evaluate the latest version of Aspose.Words for Reporting services before upgrading, but your license does not allow upgrading to this version, you can request a temporary 30-day license. Please see the following link for more information:
