Aspose.Words Java PDF/A 2 compliance

I’m evaluating Aspose.Words/Java for a client of mine, and we are quite happy so far.
We have a requirement to convert Word files into PDF, with PDF/A-2 b compliance.
In the PdfCompliance enumeration I can only see PDF/A-1 compliance options. Is this feature planned?

Hi Alex,

PDF/A-2 is not supported at the moment and a feature request to support this feature has been logged into our issue tracking system as WORDSNET-11488. We will keep you updated on this issue in this thread.

As a workaround, you can use first use Aspose.Words to convert to PDF and then use Aspose.Pdf to convert to PDF/A-2 or any other compliance level.

The issues you have found earlier (filed as WORDSNET-11488) have been fixed in this Aspose.Words for .NET 21.7 update and this Aspose.Words for Java 21.7 update.
