Please guide us on upgrading aspose.words package for our application as we are getting below error.
@Akshi The message means that your license has been expired. Every Aspose license provides a 1-year subscription for free upgrades to any new Aspose.Words version that comes out.
You can check the license expiration date by opening the license file in Notepad (but take care not to modify and save the license file or it will no longer work) and checking the SubscriptionExpiry field.
<SubscriptionExpiry>20220218</SubscriptionExpiry>
It means that you can free upgrade to version of Aspose.Words published before 02/18/2022.
With your current license you can free update to 23.7 version, which was released on July 06, 2023.
If it is required to update to a version the came out after the license expiration date, you should renew your license. You can contact our sales team in Aspose.Purchase forum to achieve this. My colleagues from sales department will help you shortly.

Will there be any impact if I downgrade the version?
@Akshi Older versions do not include fixes and improvements made in newer versions. If you do not need these fixes and improvements, then there will be no impact of using older version of Aspose.Words.
