Aspose.Words License | Using Aspose.Words 24.7 with Codeporting.cs2cpp 24.9 or latest

Hi Team,

We have Aspose.Total license till July 2024 and looking to upgrade to that version. Currently, we are on version 23.6 for Aspose.Wrods and we are facing a vulnerability due to zlib 1.2.8 which is removed in Aspose.Words 24.9 by upgrading zlib to 1.3.1.
Now, I have few questions.

  1. Since our Aspose Total license is valid till July 2024 is it possible to use Aspose.Words 24.7 with Codeporting cs2cpp 24.9(or latest version) which can help us solve our issue.
  2. If it works, then how can we achieve it as we don’t directly use codeporting(we use Aspose.Words which uses codeporting).
  3. Also, if possible, can you explain how the license works? I mean, as of now I can use the DLLs on my machine for testing purpose. But I want to know how it works with license.

@DeepakSeclore

Can you please clarify what specific issues you are facing with the upgrade process and how you intend to use Codeporting.cs2cpp with Aspose.Words?

@DeepakSeclore Every Aspose license provides a 1-year subscription for free upgrades to any new Aspose.Words version that comes out.

You can check the license expiration date by opening the license file in Notepad (but take care not to modify and save the license file or it will no longer work) and checking the SubscriptionExpiry field.

<SubscriptionExpiry>20220218</SubscriptionExpiry>

It means that you can free upgrade to version of Aspose.Words published before 02/18/2022.

Aspose.Words for C++ 24.7 was released on August 02, 2024. So to update to this version subscription expiration date in your license file must be greater or equal this date.

Aspose.Words for C++ depends on codeporting libraries. Please see dependencies in the NuGet package:
https://www.nuget.org/packages/Aspose.Words.Cpp/24.7.0#dependencies-body-tab

Please see our documentation to learn how to apply license:
https://docs.aspose.com/words/cpp/licensing/

My license expiry date is 24th July 2024. Can you tell me which version I can use?

@DeepakSeclore You can update to 24.6 version, which was published on July 02, 2024:
