Aspose words rendering options not visible in SSRS 2008

I have installed Aspose.Words for Reporting Services on Windows 2008 R2 server but the aspose word rendering formats are not visible in Report viewer.

Also find the below error in the report server log:

"Exception caught instantiating AWDOCX report server extension: System.TypeLoadException: Could not load type 'Microsoft.ReportingServices.ReportRendering.IRenderingExtension' from assembly"

Please let me know if any additional configurations need to be done.

Thanks & Regards,

Nithin Kumar

Hi Tahir,

When we uninstall the ASPOSe.Word , the config file entries are not being removed from rsreportserver.config and rssrvpolicy.config.

So now when manually reinstalling Aspose word only thing we needed to do was Step 2. (copying the dll to report server folder).

But still we are not able to see the download options. Request you to please help. Below is the dll version we currently have. Request you to please share the latest version if anything has been changed.

Name:Aspose.Words.ReportingServices.dll

Date Modified: 8/22/2007 12:28 PM

Size: 2289 KB.

Also please note we are not ahving any issues with SSRS 2005 and same was isntalled using MSI. You can contact me on +1 763 954 1678.

Thanks.
