Aspose_words_various_issues_with_diagram

Hi,
We are using Aspose words 22.10 with Java 8 and CentOS 7.
Facing different issues with diagrams, highlighted in this file Aspose_words_various_issues_with_diagram.zip (2.1 MB)

@rutuja.mahajan We have opened the following new ticket(s) in our internal issue tracking system and will deliver their fixes according to the terms mentioned in Free Support Policies.

Issue ID(s): WORDSNET-24934,WORDSNET-24935,WORDSNET-24936

You can obtain Paid Support services if you need support on a priority basis, along with the direct access to our Paid Support management team.

Also, the last two problem can be also observed when convert your document to PDF using MS Word. The images in your document are WMF metafiles. So maybe the mentioned problem are not defects in Aspose.Words, but defects in MS Word itself and how it shows the metafiles in MS Word UI.

Yes, the last two diagrams are showing same result if we convert through MS word.
But can you confirm if the first issue with text can be resolved ?

@rutuja.mahajan

  1. WORDSNET-24934 - Text on metafile is rendered improperly. Is closed as Won't Fix. In the metafile the obsolete “Modern” bitmap font is used. Only GDI can draw it. Both MS Word and Aspose.Words do not support such fonts. Unfortunately there is anything we can do here.

  2. WORDSNET-24935 - Dashed line is rendered with too small step in metafile. Is planed to be fixed before 23.5 (May 2023) version of Aspose.Words.

  3. WORDSNET-24936 - Doted background is rendered in metafile. The issue is fixed in the current codebase. The fix will be included into the next 23.3 version of Aspose.Words.
