Aspose.Words vs TX Text Control

Hi,
We are currently using TX Text Control version 14 and are not happy. Please compare your product against TX Text Control.
Our major issue is that the TX Text Control component must be loaded and visible before mail merge functionality can be accomplished. Does Aspose.Words share this limitation? We are running in a .Net Windows Forms and possibly WPF environment. Please also confirm that your product works in .NET.
Thanks,
Andrew

Hello

Thanks for your inquiry. Could you please be more specific regarding your problem with Aspose.Words?
Of course Aspose.Words for .NET works with .NET, it is a class library for processing Word documents programmatically.
I think, in your case, you can use DocumentExplorer (Aspose.Words demo) as an example. This demo is included into Aspose.Words MSI installation package. There is button “Render Document”. You can use the underlying code as an example how to view document in WinForms application.
Best regards,

Andrey,

There is no problem. I don’t currently have Aspose.Words. I am asking about the word merge/mail merge functionality vs TX Text Control.

I specifically need the word merge functionality to work without visibly showing the control in a .Net window.

Thanks,
Andrew
