i would like to know if astose.pdf kit can search japanese texts on an existing pdf file and create a new highlight texts search pdf file.

Patform is windows XP.
We would like to ask if Astose.pdf.kit for C# can search pdf files for japanese texts or texts in an image and highlight it creating a new pdf file.
We want also to know if Astose PDF can get the result page numbers of search texts on the pdf file.
Is this possible using Astose PDF Kit?

Hi Sino,

I would like to share with you that Aspose.Pdf.Kit allows you to search and heighlight some text in a PDF file; it supports Japanese text as well. However, I’m afraid, it doesn’t allow you to highlight the text in an image file – Aspose.Pdf.Kit is a component which manipulates existing PDF files only. You can find details along with the code snippet to search and highlight text in a PDF file in this help topic.

I’m afraid, I couldn’t understand your second requirement clearly. Do you want to find the numbers of those pages where the searched text was found? Please share your requirement in detail, so we would be able to help you out.

I’m sorry to inform you that your second requirement is currently not supported; however, we have already logged a new feature request, to support this requirement, as PDFKITNET-19945 in our issue tracking system. You’ll be notified via this forum thread once it is supported in future.
