I have observed the PPT shared by you and it is in fact corrupt and not getting opened in PowerPoint as well. The issue is IMO with presentation. Please verify the presentation on your end. I used PowerPoint 2010 on my end.

Yes, the file is corrupt, but we were expecting some proper error message to show to client that this is not a valid file or so
