Our customer reported an issue. We have pdfa compliant files created automatically by ABCpdf that are failed to be converted with issue: Error occured during saving. Document changes may not be applied. Index was out of range. Must be non-negative and less than the size of the collection.
Document.Convert(Stream.Null, PdfFormat.PDF_A_1A, ConvertErrorAction.Delete);
There is a veraPDF - validation tool approved/developed by PDF Association. By means of this tool file structure can be fixed. Once file is fixed it’s converted successfully.
It’s customer file and we asked him is it okay to share with you. Waiting for response…
Is it possible fix such an issue on your side?
Is it okay to observe such issue message? should not it be hided as inner one and display more friendly text?

Looks like the source of the file is ABCpdf and Aspose.PDF is not able to handle this file unless you fix it using veraPDF tool. Nevertheless, we will need a file to perform some investigation and try to find out if we can implement something in Aspose.PDF so that you won’t have to fix the file first using veraPDF. Please try to share the source file as well as sample code snippet with us so that we can further proceed accordingly. Also, please share how you fix the file using veraPDF?
