Hello, We are using Aspose.Slides to merge 2 individual slides into a file. While it works most of the time, I would like to provide 2 glaring cases where the background colors change completely:
a. from blue-ish to black (Color Test Case1.pptx)
b. from pink-ish to white (Color Test Case2.pptx)
The two inputs are:
Color Test Case 2.pptx.zip (1.4 MB)
Color Test Case 1.pptx.zip (215.2 KB)
Our sample project (which was also used to fix SLIDESJAVA-38112):
MergePagesService.java.zip (1.2 KB)
The output of the merge pages code can be seen here:
Color TestCase Output.pptx.zip (221.0 KB)
Please let us know at the earliest when this can be resolved.
Thank you, in advance.
@rahul.contiq,
Can you please provide the details of the issue that what has been changed and what you have been expecting so that I may observe with respect to that perspective to help you further. Can you please also confirm that if you are using Aspose.Slides for Java 20.6 on your end too/

-
Version: Yes we are on the latest version 20.6.
-
Details: As mentioned in the description above I have provided two testcases:
(A)
- Open the input to Aspose.slides: Color Test Case 1.pptx and notice the background color Pink
- Open the output from Aspose.slides: Color TestCase Output.pptx and notice the background color changed to White in SLIDE 2
(B)
- Open the input to Aspose.slides: Color Test Case 2.pptx and notice the background color Blue
- Open the output from Aspose.slides: Color TestCase Output.pptx and notice the background color changed to Black in SLIDE 1
Basically, please review the background color change from input to output.
Thanks.
@rahul.contiq,
Please check the background color of Color Test Case 1.pptx when opened in PowerPoint 2019.
Now, observe the cloned presentation on left and actual source presentation on right. Both are identical except the slide size variation in cloned presentation.
There is no blue background any where.
Please observe the cloned presentation on left and actual source presentation on right. The view is identical.
As per code logic, Aspose.Slides has behaved correctly. If I am missing any thing then please share the elaboration in the form snapshot as I am unable to observe any issue.
@mudassir.fayyaz, Apolgies. Incorrect input files got attached earlier. Here are the right ones and I have marked them as corrected:
Color TestCase1 Corrected.ppt.zip (46.9 KB)
Color TestCase2 Corrected.ppt.zip (236.7 KB)
So Testcase1 comparison:
image.png (148.4 KB)
Testcase2 comparison:
image.png (448.7 KB)
The output file is the same. The background color changes are apparent above.
Thank You.
