Bad performance while rendering PDF Pages

Hi,

the product looks very good, but we have a performance problem by rendering PDF Pages.
Here the sample code:

Dim mms As New MemoryStream()<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

Dim
bmpDev As New BmpDevice(New PageSize(600,
800)
)<o:p></o:p>

bmpDev.Process(myPDFDoc.Pages(1),
mms)<o:p></o:p>

Dim
bmp As New Bitmap(mms)<o:p></o:p>

The bmpDev.Process step takes significant longer than as other pdf product libraries. Where is the problem?
Thanks!

Hi Jasmin,

Thanks for contacting support.

Hi,

here are the test results between another PDF library and ASPOSE.PDF:

another PDF library:
235 msec<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = “urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office” /><o:p></o:p>

ASPOSE.PDF:
1.180 msec<o:p></o:p>

We tested several pdf documents with the same result. One sample pdf document is attached.

We use the pdf rendering feature for previewing pdf documents in windows forms. So the time is important.

Greetings from Jasmin

Hi,
the Version Aspose.Pdf for .NET 10.7 has the same problem (bad performance by rendering PDF Pages). <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

The product looks very good, but we need an answer/solution for the performance problem. We use the pdf rendering feature for previewing pdf documents in windows forms. So the time is important!

Thanks, Jasmin
